Impressionists on Paper

The Linnean Society and Royal Academy of Arts

Coffee · Lecture · Lunch · Exhibition

Friday 2nd February 2024

Step inside the sketchbooks of Degas, Cézanne, Renoir, Van Gogh and other radicals of the Impressionists and Post-impressionist art movements. This exhibition shines a light on works on paper and offers us the chance to see the drawings, pastels, watercolours, temperas and gouaches that are often overlooked when considering the birth of Modernism in late 19th century France.

The lecture by Tom Parsons will prepare you for the exhibition so that you can make the most of your time in the gallery and gain the greatest insight into the works. Please join us for lunch afterwards at José Pizarro in the Royal Academy of Arts.
