Coffee · Lecture · Lunch · Exhibition
10th June 2025
What is ‘home’? This is the question posed by Korean-born, London based artist Suh, in this contemporary exhibition at Tate Modern. Suh explores the meaning of home, identity and how we live in and interact with the world around us. A leading contemporary artist, Suh invites audiences to explore his large-scale installations, sculptures, videos and drawings; his immersive exhibition asks audiences to investigate what it means to belong, the dichotomy of collectivity and individuality, connection and disconnection, architecture, the body and space. The exhibition will span three decades of Suh’s life, taking audiences through Seoul, New York and London through his life size replicas of past and present homes and sculptures that question the tradition of monuments.
The lecture by Tina Corri will prepare you for the exhibition so that you can make the most of your time in the gallery and gain the greatest insight into the works. Please join us for lunch afterwards at Tate Modern’s restaurant, Kitchen and Bar.
